HOW IS LIPOSUCTION PERFORMED?

Liposuction is usually performed under general anaesthesia or sometimes local anaesthesia. In liposuction surgery, the fatty area is determined and marked. Then, an incision is made on or near this marked area. Through these incisions, cannula metal tubes are inserted into the subcutaneous layer according to the patient’s condition and the cannulas are connected to the vacuum device with transparent hoses. The fat is sucked out and the procedure is terminated by dressing the area.
